Built in 1927
The place we call home was originally the first bank of our historic Hale’iwa Town, the Bishop Bank (present day First Hawaiian Bank).
As one of the oldest buildings in Hale’iwa, it’s something special. We kept the original architecture, the window panes, and even the original bank vault.
We pride ourselves on supporting local, from our freshly roasted coffee and small batch syrups, to our featured artists. In turn, we can support our locals and visitors with the best Hale’iwa has to offer.
Coffee
Roasted and delivered fresh every week by Haleiwa Coffee Roasters, you know you're getting the freshest cup of joe.
For espresso, we use the Hale Blend, a medium-dark roast that shines whether you're getting a doppio espresso or one of our specialty lattes.
For our signature cold brew, we use the Banzai Blend, a dark, chocolatey roast that has more than a few people addicted.
Signature blends of whole bean coffee is available for purchase at the Cafe, and we're happy to grind it for you if needed.
Matcha
Our service matcha is an organic matcha by Mizuba Tea Co. Full-bodied and well-balanced, its lush creaminess is balanced out by a savory, grassy sweetness.
Mizuba Matcha is exceptionally fresh: sourced, shade-grown & stone-milled to order from producer partner's organic farms in Shizuoka, Japan. Grown solely with natural, organic fertilizers, no agricultural chemicals or pesticides are used.
We're proud to serve Mizuba Matcha at Saylor's, enjoy a matcha latte by us and take home a tin to share.
Goods
Supporting local is our priority. From the ingredients we use in service to the goods we have for purchase, you'll find Hawaii's best at Saylors.
Locally roasted coffee, locally made syrups, raw Hawaiian honey, and photography prints from our favorite Hawaii artists, just to name a few. Hope you enjoy!
FAQ
Do you have parking?
We have a small parking lot behind our building which we share with our neighbor, Haleiwa Bowls.
Plenty more free parking is available across the street at the Haleiwa Harbor, just a 2 minute leisurely stroll.
Do you have WiFi?
Unfortunately we do not provide WiFi. Our building is an old bank from the 1920's made of cement, and service can be spotty once inside. Not so great for working on a laptop, but great for meeting with friends!
Do you have food items?
We carry a variety of sweet and savory pastries, freshly delivered each day. No heavy plates or full food menu
