Evenings at Pipeline are always photogenic. If you watch the surfers on the beach, you'll see they often have to time their paddle outs, waiting for lulls between massive sets of waves. For this occasion I seemed to have found my way up the scaffolding during the waiting period for the Pipe contest. Perfect time to snap a photo! Through the coconut trees I was able to spot one of my friends, Tosh Tudor, waiting patiently for his window of opportunity
