During a large North swell and crazy rain storm, I swam out to a break called Log Cabins on the North Shore of Oahu. Wanting to capture the rain drops hitting the ocean and the perfect waves, I framed up this image. Three surfers, each frozen in thought during a unique moment between sets. Centered is big wave surfer and Eddie Aikau invitee, Emi Erickson.
